Privacy Policy
This notice explains how JP Ventures Italia S.r.l. processes the personal data of anyone visiting this website or contacting us, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Privacy Code).
1. Data controller
The data controller is JP Ventures Italia S.r.l., registered office at Via Cristoforo Soldo, 8 – 25127 Brescia (Italia) (VAT no. 04594150981). For any request concerning your data you can write to info@jpventures.it. No Data Protection Officer has been appointed, as the legal conditions requiring one do not apply.
2. What data we collect
This site is a presentation page with a single contact form and no sign-up. We therefore process a limited amount of data:
- Contact details you provide voluntarily through the contact form or by e-mail (name, e-mail address, company, message content and anything else you choose to include). We use them solely to reply to your enquiry.
- Navigation data automatically acquired by our systems while you use the site (e.g. IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, date and time). This data is used for security and for the correct operation of the service.
- Statistical data collected through Google Analytics 4, but only if you give consent: pages viewed, visit duration, device type, approximate location and traffic source, in aggregate form. If you do not consent, the tool is not even loaded.
3. Why we process data and on what legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Replying to enquiries sent through the contact form or by e-mail and managing business contacts | Pre-contractual measures and legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.b and 6.1.f GDPR) |
| Ensuring the operation, security and maintenance of the site | Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) |
| Remembering your cookie choices | Technical storage strictly necessary to provide the service (Art. 122 Legislative Decree 196/2003), exempt from consent |
| Measuring use of the site with Google Analytics 4 | Consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR and Art. 122 Legislative Decree 196/2003), withdrawable at any time |
| Compliance with legal obligations | Legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR) |
Providing the data in the contact form is optional, but without it we cannot answer your enquiry. We carry out no automated decision-making and no individual profiling.
4. How long we keep data
- E-mails and contact details are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and, where a business relationship follows, for the related statutory obligations.
- Navigation data contained in server logs is kept for a limited period, except where needed to investigate offences or for security purposes.
- Google Analytics statistical data is kept for no longer than 14 months from collection, according to the retention setting active on the property.
- Your cookie choice is stored on your device for 6 months; once it expires the banner reappears and you are asked again.
5. Who we share data with
Data may be processed by suppliers that support us in delivering the service, appointed as data processors under Art. 28 GDPR. We neither sell nor disclose your data.
| Supplier | Role | Data processed |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services, Inc. / Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL | Hosting and content delivery (CDN) | Navigation data and technical logs |
| Google Ireland Limited | Usage statistics (Google Analytics 4), subject to consent only | Cookie identifiers, aggregated navigation data |
Some of these suppliers may also process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer relies on the EU adequacy decision for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or on the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, with supplementary measures where necessary (Art. 44 ff. GDPR).
6. Your rights
At any time you may exercise the rights set out in Art. 15-22 GDPR:
- access to your data and obtaining a copy;
- rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erasure of your data (right to be forgotten);
- restriction of and objection to processing;
- data portability;
- withdrawal of consent, without affecting processing carried out beforehand.
To exercise these rights write to info@jpventures.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
7. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice to reflect legal developments or changes to the site. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its update date.
